As a part of the ACSE program that was started this year, Springfield Elementary students had the opportunity to hatch baby chicks. For the lesson they used four different styles of incubators, ranging from the basic heat lamp and box to an incubator that was extremely high tech. The experiment was conducted to track which incubator would have the highest hate rate. The experiment ended with the successful hatching of 10 baby chicks.
