Students in Mrs. Campbell’s English 8H class at Page County Middle School, researched memorials to those lost in the Holocaust after reading Number the Stars. Then, groups designed memorials to heroes, innovators, creators, athletes, and individuals impacted by war. Groups considered materials, location, historical impact, and various other factors in their designs.
