During Red Ribbon Week, Luray Middle School students participated in the "Plant the Promise" campaign. Each student planted a tulip bulb in the flower beds on the LMS campus, which will bloom in the spring and serve as a visible reminder of the importance and the beauty of living a drug-free lifestyle.
Many thanks to the amazing guidance counselors at LMS (Eva Robertson and Georgia Breeden) and our excellent SRO (Deputy Adam Sours) for running point on this powerful activity. Additionally, LMS is SO grateful to the Page County Sheriff's office, who generously donated the funds to cover the entire cost of our "Plant the Promise" activity, and to all of our local law enforcement officers who came and graciously helped with this wonderful event!
