In Early Childhood Education classes at Luray High School, students of Ms. Barbie Jenkins explored infant development by learning to identify ages and stages of child development, learned to care for a baby using the infant simulators, and then participated in an activity focusing on roles and responsibilities of an entry level early childhood education professional. These activities help develop skills that will allow them to apply for jobs that involve young children.
