On April 11, 2025 fifth graders from Springfield, Luray, Stanley and Shenandoah elementary schools had the exciting opportunity to visit the Page County Technical Center. During their visit students engaged in a variety of hands-on activities that showcased the numerous Career and Technical Education (CTE) programs offered by PCPS.
The presenters for this informative event were students currently enrolled in the CTE classes who enthusiastically shared their knowledge and experiences with the fifth graders.
As part of the experience, the fifth graders rotated through ten different booths, allowing them to explore various fields of study. Additionally, they had the chance to spend an extended period in a lab of their choice, further immersing themselves in the practical aspects of CTE education.
This event provided a valuable glimpse into the diverse opportunities available in Page County Public Schools, inspiring the next generation of students to consider their future educational paths.
