Students in Mr. Valle's World History II class at Luray High School created social media profiles for renowned explorers. For the Age of Exploration unit, students were tasked with creating profiles that include their country of origin, empire who employed them, their goals, and their achievements. Students would then present their profiles in a gallery walk where other students could read the profiles they created and learn about the explorers. Students were also given "LIKE" buttons so that they could vote on the profiles they thought were most informative.
