On Thursday, Oct. 20th, the PCHS Volleyball team held their annual Breast Cancer Awareness game. This year something new was added. Four teachers/staff opted to have their heads shaved if enough money was raised ($1200). Thanks to the generosity of our community and students, we raised $1309.33 for breast cancer research! This money will be donated to UVA. This meant that Mr. Fleming, Mrs. Bracken, and Mrs. Carlson got haircuts from our volleyball players. Mr. Reisinger had his head shaved during lunch on Oct. 24. Thank you to all involved for making this happen so successfully! Stay tuned for next year's event, as more teachers are rumored to be joining the mix.
