IMPORTANT MESSAGE REGARDING THOSE STUDENTS CURRENTLY ENROLLED IN ADVANCED PLACEMENT CLASSES: Advanced Placement (AP) exams will still take place, but with a lot of changes. Students - here's what you need to know: Shorter: Exams will be only 45 minutes long (vs. 3 hours normally) No multiple choice! The exam will be entirely comprised of free response questions (FRQs). Limited Content: Exams will NOT include any content typically covered after early March. Online: Exams can be taken online and will not be face-to-face. 2 exam dates: One in May one later (TBD). Students can decide if they want to test while the material is fresh or wait to give themselves extra study time. College Credit Intact: Colleges are on board with this exam approach, and there's precedent for them accepting shorter exams in emergencies. Please share.

To the class of 2020: We never thought your senior year would end this way, and for that we are truly sorry. Our hearts go out to you during this time, and we regret that your senior memories have been cut short. While we do not know the fate of proms or graduation ceremonies yet, we are happy to say, that seniors that were set to graduate in the spring, the state will be waiving some of the requirements necessary, therefore allowing your graduating to proceed. Your high schools will be in touch with you soon to provide more information and answer any questions you may have. We are proud of all of your hard work and accomplishments!
