Congratulations to the winners of our door decorating contest! The themes and winners were as follows:
9th grade (Santa's Helpers) - Mrs. Secrist
10th grade (Peanuts) - Mr. Martin
11th grade (Grinch) - Ms. Koslow
12th grade (Candyland) - Mrs. Baldwin
Computer Science students participated in holiday STEM activities to build a foldable reindeer feeder and the tallest peppermint tower. They also learned about the history of computer storage and made ornaments out of of CD/DVDs.
The Guitar Club, Spanish Club, Spanish Honor Society, and friends collaborated for some holiday caroling for the residents of the Hawksbill Assisted Living Facility.
During the Spanish II and III classes, students created handmade ornaments that are known as the "Ojo de Dios". These are traditional artisan crafts originally made by the Huichol Indigenous peoples of Mexico

Alexis Good, a second year Cosmetology student, was named the Eagle of the Month for the AM session.She was nominated for her speed and accuracy in the lab,interacting professionally with clients, maintaining solid test scores,and being very caring to classmates.
Natalie Dunlap, a first year Cosmetology student, was named the Eagle of the Month for the PM session. She was nominated for working efficiently,being goal-oriented, excelling with speed and accuracy of competencies, and balancing her academics with cheering at the state level.
