This week is intended to focus attention on the unique contributions of school counselors and counseling staff within PCPS, and highlighting the tremendous impact they have in helping students achieve school success and plan for a career!
February 5-9th is Digital Awareness Week. During this time we will share some important information regarding the Digital World with tips to help keep you safe.
This is a reminder to anyone who may be interested in participating in wrestling, there is an informational meeting tonight at 6:30 p.m. in the LHS auditorium.
Donations are still needed for the first ever, SINGLES AND SWEETHEARTS DANCE at Luray High School. SCA is seeking packaged chips, cookies, cakes and snacks. Donations of veggie, fruit, or sandwich trays are also accepted. These items will be collected all this week. Items can be dropped off in the LHS main office, or students can bring them to Mr. Hammer's room (B112). If you have any questions, please email Mr. Hammer at ahammer@pagecounty.k12.va.us
February is a busy month for celebrating. This month PCPS will recognize National Career and Technical Month, School Board Appreciation Month (including Clerk of the Board Appreciation), National School Resource Officer Day, Digital Awareness Week, IT recognition day, Black History Month, and National School Counseling Week. Please take a moment to recognize each of these groups during this month. We appreciate all that they do to support our students, our schools, and our community.

Bus 58 will not be running this afternoon. Bus 58's route will be split between Bus 40 and Bus 1. Please expect delays this afternoon on Bus 1, 40 and 58's routes.

Luray High School would like to recognize students who had a 95% or better attendance rate for the first semester of the 2023-2024 school year. Congratulations! Attendance really DOES matter!

There will be NO Bus 55 this afternoon.
Bus 30 and Bus 27 will split the route.
*Bus 30 will cover Greenfield, Rolling Road and 340 stops
*Bus 27 will cover Pleasant view, Blainesville, and Hollow Run Roads

Weather Update -Monday, January 22, 2024
All PCPS schools will open on a two-hour delay on Monday, January 22, 2024. Plan to arrive at your bus stop two hours later than you normally would and anticipate potential delays in transportation as our drivers will travel with extra care and caution.
We ask parents or guardians of students who drive to school to talk with them about being particularly careful in the morning.
Breakfast and lunch will be served at school. 12-month staff will report on time.
We thank everyone for their continued patience and flexibility as we continue to make decisions that have everyone’s safety as our primary concern.

Due to forecasted weather, the 27th Annual Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr Celebration scheduled for Sunday, January 21, 2024, is being rescheduled for Sunday, January 28, 2024. We invite everyone to join us as various student musical groups and individual students share their thoughts and reflections of Dr. King’s legacy.
