Yesterday, 4th grade students at Springfield Elementary School received presents of bookmarks and ornaments, designed and colored, from their "pen pals" at Luray High School. The club, sponsored by Mrs. Brandi Alger at LHS, pairs high school students with a 4th grade student and throughout the year letters are exchanged (through the sponsor). This is a very popular club at LHS.
Yesterday, Luray High School band, choir, and color guard joined with Luray Middle School band and visited Springfield Elementary and Luray Elementary to perform their Winter Concert for the students.
