Friday morning, November 5th, Bus 65 will be split up with several buses. This will be AM only. Listed below are the roads and approximate pick up times:
Bus 26 will cover- 7:35 am start on Clearview Road, Piney Mountain Road, Edgewood and 211 BSN from Dry Run to Collins Ave.
Bus 39 will cover- 7:35 am start on Painter Street, Canaan Street, Charles Ave.,Hilldale Drive and Nichols Road.
Bus 27 will cover-7:35 am start on Eden Road and Creekside Drive. Bus 27 will also cover First Street at 7:50 am.

LHS will offer a Financial Aid/FAFSA workshop on Wednesday, November 10, 2021 at 6pm. This is a combination of general financial aid information, as well as help on completing the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid). Students should bring their device (chromebook) to complete the FAFSA. Parent/students received emails about necessary documents they should bring as well.

Strawbridge will be at LHS on Monday, Nov. 8th for makup pictures. This will be for grades 9th through 12th. The link below will allow parents to sign up to receive updates via email regarding their child's school portraits. These updates include promotions, additional deals and the ability to order more pictures at a later time. Students with the Luray FFA attended the 94th National FFA Convention in Indianapolis, Indiana this past week. While there students attended sessions, visited the career expo, went on a tour of a local candle company, went to a rodeo, and saw a hypnotist. It was great to be back and surrounded by fellow blue and gold jackets!

Today, the LHS marching band performed at the state wide VBODA marching band assessment. For the first time in our school's history, they received a superior rating, the highest rating a band can earn!
We are looking forward to Homecoming 2021 tonight at LHS at 7 pm! There will be several activities throughout the building - dance, selfie station, movie, gaming area, corn hole, ping pong, and food. All events are inside due to the weather.
There will be temperature checks at the entrance of the dance. Students will be asked if they have symptoms of COVID-19. They will also be asked if they have been in contact with a person with COVID-19 in the past 48 hours.
Masks will be required since the event is inside. Activities are spaced throughout the building to assist with social distancing.

Page County Public Schools will be hosting Parent-Teacher Conferences on Monday, November 1, 2021, from 10:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. (12:00 - 1:00 p.m. reserved for lunch). If you haven't already done so, we would encourage you to reach out to your child's teacher(s) to schedule an appointment. These meetings will be in-person or virtually depending on your preference/schedule.
Additionally, Page County Public Schools will be closed on Tuesday, November 2, 2021, for students. This day is designated as a professional development day for teachers in the 2021-22 school calendar.
