In celebration of Career and Technical Education Month we are highlighting some of our programs throughout the division. Here we have students in Ms. Rines' Small Animal Care class at Luray High School reviewing various systems of the body and how they influence the care of our pets. In order to better understand the internal anatomy of pets, like dogs, cats, birds, rabbits and horses, students were challenged to make a 3D skeleton and identify the major bones present.

All month long we are celebrating Career and Technical Education at Page County Public Schools. We will highlight the many programs we offer within our division. Here, Cosmetology II students are focusing on advanced color techniques to include balayage, foiling, complete coverage color, and multi-dimensional color.

The varsity girls basketball game versus Mountain View will be played tonight (2/14) at 6:30 pm at LHS. The varsity boys basketball game versus East Rockingham will be also be played tonight at 6:30 pm at East Rockingham High School. Good luck to all!

Celebrating CTE Month within our schools. Luray Middle School 6th graders make birdhouses, 7th graders make foot stools, and 8th graders make benches. Most of these students have never done anything like this before. They learned the importance of measuring correctly and following plans.

Celebrating Career and Technical Education Month at PCPS: 7th grade FCS students at LMS have been "sew" busy. Students learned the parts of the sewing machine, pinning and cutting out a pattern, and how to sew a proper seam allowance with proper measuring techniques. They put their skills into practice by sewing their own face masks.
