Page County Public Schools is now accepting registration for Kindergarten. There are several options for families. Option #1: Parent/Guardian may utilize the Google link (https://forms.gle/F2SKFQEj6W25dGsc8) to submit basic demographic information and schedule a phone interview to finalize the application. Option #2: Parent/Guardian may download, print, and complete the application (Go to pagek12.org/ Menu/ Documents/Kindergarten Registration Materials). Drop the completed registration form off at the Central Office (735 West Main Street Luray, VA 22835) or their home school. Option #3: Call their home school and complete the application over the phone with a staff member. Springfield Elementary School - 540-743-3750 Luray Elementary School - 540-743-4078 Stanley Elementary School - 540-778-2612 Shenandoah Elementary School - 540-652-8621 The student academic screening portion of the application process is tentatively scheduled to begin the week of June 22, 2020. During these appointments, all additional documentation will be completed and verified. The student school entrance health form must be completed prior to the student starting the 2020-21 school year. Drop the completed application off at Central Office (735 West Main Street Luray, VA, 22835) or their home school. Option #3: Call the Central Office at 540-743-6533 and complete the application over the phone with a staff member. As applications are received, Central Office staff will be scheduling individual appointments with parent/guardian, adhering to social distancing guidelines, to verify in-person proof of residency, student birth certificate, and income (pay stub, W-2, or current year's income tax information). During this in-person appointment, any needed additional documentation will be finalized and completed. Mrs. Comer and her FCCLA officers had a Zoom meeting to "spread some sunshine" in the place of their state conference. We'd like to encourage everyone to show kindness to everyone during these times. A little kindness goes a long way!

Attention Families: Beginning Friday, April 17, 2020, those families receiving meals will receive multiple days worth of meals during each delivery. Deliveries will now be made on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. Friday deliveries will now also include meals for the weekend. Meals are for any child in Page County who is 18 and under, there are no financial qualifications. The child does NOT need to be enrolled in Page County Public Schools. For Interested Student-Athletes Ages 12-18: Positive Coaching Alliance (PCA) is a- national nonprofit that partners with schools and youth sport organizations across the country to help administrators enhance and maintain a positive, character-building culture for student-athletes. PCA has decided to offer our Athlete online course for FREE until April 30th. If any student-athletes are interested in taking the course, have their parents register them. Click here to learn more. (Please note that this course is intended for athletes from 12 - 18 years-old. As long as an athlete is registered by April 30th, they will have access to the course for 10 months.) This is a reminder that TODAY is the final day for scheduled pick-ups of student belongings. All schools are open from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. for you to do a drive-up style pickup. If you have not had the opportunity to get your child's belongings, we ask that you make every effort to get them today, as going forward special arrangements would have to be made with each school.
