Dear PCHS Parents, Guardians, and Students, With the retirement of Mr. Frankie Comer, PCHS Athletic Director, Mr. David Cale, Principal, will serve as the point of contact for the Athletic Department until further notice. All athletic programs will continue as normal with PCHS staff and the division supporting coaches, students and families through this transition. Dear PCPS Faculty, Staff, Students and Families, Page County Public Schools (PCPS) is announcing the immediate retirement of the Page County High School (PCHS) Athletic Director. Mr. Frankie Comer has decided that he needs to step down from his role as the Athletic Director due to health concerns. Mr. Comer began his 37-year career in education at Page County High School where he has served as a Health and Physical Education teacher, a Driver Education instructor, and an alternative education teacher. He has also served as an assistant principal across the division, the varsity and junior varsity football coach at PCHS, and the head coach and assistant track coach at PCHS. The open position of Athletic Director is posted on the division’s website. Division and school staff will be working as quickly as possible to fill this position, as well as providing ongoing support to ensure a seamless transition for students, families and the school. PCPS and PCHS thanks Mr. Comer for his many years of dedicated service to the division and we extend our best wishes to him. Thank you, Antonia M. Fox, Ed.D. Superintendent

IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR THOSE STUDENTS INTERESTED IN TAKING DUAL ENROLLMENT CLASSES THROUGH LAUREL RIDGE COMMUNITY COLLEGE. August 7 at 5:30 pm we will be having a dual enrollment information session for parents and students (this session is specifically for students who plan on taking dual enrollment at their high school): https://vccs.zoom.us/j/85780706695 August 15 at 6 pm we will be having a dual enrollment information session in Spanish for parents and students (this session is specially for students who plan on taking dual enrollment at their high school): https://vccs.zoom.us/j/88463089973 August 19 at 5:30 pm we will be having a DE orientation for on-campus course(s) and on-line course(s).
