Students in Mrs. Lam's Math RTI at Page County Middle School did some "sweet" math! Students used Skittles to review and practice what they have been learning in math class. Each student was given a random number of Skittles which helped them fill out a chart of bases and exponents according to the Skittle color in each box. They were then tasked with writing each requested combination in exponential form, expanded form, and to evaluate to the get their final answers. This activity was a great way for students to showcase their knowledge of exponents.
