Volleyball tryouts start Monday and Cross Country starts on Tuesday! See you there!


PCMS will hold orientation on Wednesday, August 21, 2024. 6th Grade Jump Start will begin at 2:00 pm in the auditorium and will end at 5:00 pm. We will begin with a Jump Start Presentation, hand out schedules and run through a mock bell schedule. 7th and 8th grade students may come anytime between 5:00 and 7:00 pm to receive their schedules and visit with teachers. Please sign in to the Parent Portal prior to attending orientation to review and submit all forms. See you there!

Dear PCPS Families,
Given the inclement weather forecast for Page County this evening and through tomorrow, PCPS will be ending all activities by 7:30pm Thursday, August 8, 2024. The Parent & Student Athletic Meeting scheduled at Luray High School this evening will continue as scheduled and conclude by 7:30pm.
Additionally, out of an abundance of caution for everyone’s safety, all schools, offices and facilities will be closed on Friday, August 9, 2024 and all activities and events are canceled. A decision about Saturday activities will be made by noon on Friday.

Girl's Volleyball Open Gym: August 6, 2024 - August 16, 2024, from 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM.
Volleyball Tryouts: August 19, 2024, at 5:00 PM.
Girls & Boys Cross Country: Begins on August 21, 2024, at 3:30 PM.
Mandatory Parent Handbook Meeting: For all fall athletes and their guardians on August 14, 2024, at 5:30 PM in the PCMS Auditorium.
Reminder: You must have an updated physical to participate in any practices or open gyms. All match dates and times can be found on the Bull Run District's website.

Dear PCPS Faculty, Staff, Students and Families,
Page County Public Schools (PCPS) is announcing the immediate retirement of the Page County High School (PCHS) Athletic Director. Mr. Frankie Comer has decided that he needs to step down from his role as the Athletic Director due to health concerns. Mr. Comer began his 37-year career in education at Page County High School where he has served as a Health and Physical Education teacher, a Driver Education instructor, and an alternative education teacher. He has also served as an assistant principal across the division, the varsity and junior varsity football coach at PCHS, and the head coach and assistant track coach at PCHS.
The open position of Athletic Director is posted on the division’s website. Division and school staff will be working as quickly as possible to fill this position, as well as providing ongoing support to ensure a seamless transition for students, families and the school.
PCPS and PCHS thanks Mr. Comer for his many years of dedicated service to the division and we extend our best wishes to him.
