Mrs. Pettit’s Medical Terminology students tested their knowledge of anatomical directions and terminology by performing "Potato Man Surgery." The student surgeons were required to perform such tasks as amputating the distal end of the left leg, suturing a laceration in the cephalic area, and removing the patient's spleen. Students also practiced identifying structures of the heart as they performed a dissection of a deer heart. Students did a great job of reinforcing what they had learned in the class.
