Welding I and II students took part in a festive take-home Christmas Tree Horseshoe Project. Each student started with a set of blueprints to follow and were also allowed some creativity in the design their trees They started with six horseshoes each, and had to implement their fabrication skills that were learned during the first nine weeks of school. Students had to use skills such as cutting, grinding, and forming before welding their trees together. Once the students finished welding and polishing their trees, they painted them with pine green paint, and some even added a dash of snow!
