Dear PCTC Family,
We have been working to develop learning continuity for our school community as a result of the “brick and mortar” being closed for the remainder of the school year (2019-2020). As a result we have developed the following plan to provide review packet and reinforcement activities:
All packets have been prepared and will be available ONLINE as of April 1 for a 2 week review and reinforcement period. Thus if you can access them via an online device (cell phone, tablet, laptop, computer, etc.), you do NOT need to come to the school on March 31st and April 1st to pick up a packet.
If you are unable to access the online packets, please come by PCTC on Tuesday, March 31 and Wednesday, April 1 during the shifts of 8:00-11:00 am and 4:00-7:00 pm to retrieve them. We will do this as a “drive-thru” service. You will pull up into the pickup / drop off area and be met by staff to obtain your child’s program so that we can retrieve their respective packets. Please do not come directly into the building.
If you need to pick up personal items (tools, kits, etc) from the classrooms/labs, you may come to the building on Monday, March 30th from 8:00 am to 3:30 pm. If you decide to do so, we will do this as a “drive-thru” service. You will pull up into the pickup / drop off area and be escorted into the building to ensure that we meet the social distancing requirements. Please do not come directly into the building.
Further updates will be forthcoming regarding additional learning continuity items. Please be on the lookout for this information in your email, our social media platforms, and our website at pagek12.org.
For students who were scheduled to take a licensure exam (Cosmetology, Nurse Aide, Medical Assistant, etc.), your instructor will be in touch with further information.
Thank you for your patience as we all work through this unprecedented time together. Please do not hesitate to call the school at (540)778-7282 or email me at lapettit@pagecounty.k12.va.us.
