Springfield Elementary School is excited to announce Mrs. Owens as our new 5th Grade teacher! Welcome to the team, Ms. Owens! "Hello, Springfield Family! I am Jerika Owens, and I am excited to join the fifth grade team this year! I will be teaching Language Arts and Social Studies. Over the past 18 years, I have had the honor of teaching in various elementary classrooms and later, tutoring in my home when my children were small. I am looking forward to a great year as I serve in a great school!"

Born and raised in Page County, I received my Bachelor’s from Radford University and am finishing my Master’s degree in Special Education through Liberty University. I taught the last two years at an elementary school in Front Royal but was ready to come back to Page County. I’m looking forward to a great year at Springfield!"

My name is Courtney Dudley and I am so excited to be teaching second grade at Springfield! I recently graduated from Longwood University with a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Elementary Education. I’m thrilled to be back in Page County as I begin my teaching career: My dream job in my favorite place! I am looking forward to welcoming students back to school soon and joining the Springfield community! 🤩"

IMPORTANT REMINDER FOR PARENTS/GUARDIANS OF STUDENTS ENTERING PRE-K OR KINDERGARTEN. This is a reminder that any child about to enter Pre-K or Kindergarten must have a physical on file by the FIRST day of school, Monday, August 22, 2022, in order to attend school that day.
