Stanley Elementary students were treated to a Winterfest before Winter Break. The school's PTO pulled out all the stops to plan and create a magical school wide event that every student could enjoy. Highlights included: a magical elevator to the North Pole, photos and visits with Santa, holiday themed bounce houses, gingerbread house building, hot cocoa, freshly popped popcorn, and Santa hat decorating. The Winterfest event even included a station hosted by FCCLA students from Page County High School, who read a holiday story to students, led them through a craft project, and provided a themed snack. PTO volunteers and staff members put in countless hours to decorate the building (inside and out) and the kids were thrilled with the results. Many thanks to Stanley's amazing PTO for putting on such a spectacular event.
