Summer Camp 2022
May is National Physical Fitness and Sports Month, and we'd like to take the time to honor two extremely hard working individuals, Mr. Don Ehlers, Athletic Director of Luray High School, and Mr. Bill Simmons , Athletic Director of Page County High School. These two men put in so many extra hours beyond the normal school day. They are always busy preparing fields and courts, scheduling, and rescheduling games, and there to supervise and work each and every game. Their dedication to our school system deserves to be recognized for all that they give to our division. If you see them around, don't hesitate to tell them thank you for all they do for your children and the community. A "thank you" goes a long way.

Attention families and friends of Luray High School: This afternoon we evacuated the high school due to smoke inside the building. Following a full evacuation and emergency response, fire officials determined that a furnace had malfunctioned. They were able to remedy the situation quickly and we were permitted to safely re-enter the building. We appreciate the swift response by local emergency services. We are also proud to say that our students and staff handled this situation beautifully. Nicky Clark Principal Luray High School

Wednesday, April 27,2022, is Administrative Professionals Day, but we are honoring our unsung heroes all week long! Mrs. Shannon Atkins--Bookkeeper--Luray High School Mrs. Atkins has worked for Page County Public Schools for the past 15 years. While she is currently serving as Bookkeeper at Luray High School, she has also worked as special education assistant, and a Pre-K assistant. Shannon says if she could give advice to her younger self it would be to enjoy every single moment. Travel if you are able and experience new things, and don't sweat the small stuff. Mrs. Atkins feels the best thing about being in education is when former students come and tell you what a difference you made in their lives. Thank you, Mrs. Atkins, for the difference you have made in so many lives over the last 15 years with Page County Public Schools. You are appreciated.
